DES Group, a collection of nine electrical engineering companies, relies on data for financial and business insights. But how do you get current data clearly unlocked when several systems are running?
One of the challenges within DES Group is to provide insight into the capacity and order book of each member company. This is the only way to prevent orders remaining idle while a sister company still has capacity in abundance.

Managing director Richard Kluijtmans: “When we have unambiguous and up-to-date information about the various companies, we can prevent these kinds of problems and steer towards things that are going well or less well. DES Group did have information from the past, such as realised turnover. But with that, you are actually writing history and we want to look forward.”
